For that reason, any system that implements party lists or candidate tables cannot be more democratic than FPTP because these lists are put together hundreds of kilometers away from the electors it affects.

Do you have a reason other than this for opposing electoral reform? Because you are not taking all of the factors into account on this point. There exist forms of electoral reform that do not involve party lists (google "STV"), and there also exist ways of doing party lists that do not involve having those lists being put together hundreds of kilometres away from the electors they affect (google "regional open lists").
